Shadow Of Legend. MMORPG for PPC/Smartphone/PC

http://www.shadowoflegend.com/web/

Just wanted to tell others about this good MMORPG for our PPC's, I have been playing it for a bit here at school and must say its quite enjoyable on our PPC6700's. I also am going to test it on my X50v and my PC.
It does require about 900MB so make sure you have some room on that 1GB or 2GB microSD card.

It is in Closed Beta ATM so be sure to fill out the Closed Beta Application. They are still getting testers.

MMOs in the palm of your hand lol... I tell you what, if Blizzard did the same thing with World of Warcraft, I'd be one HAPPY man. And, then I'd lose my job... LOL

Good god, it takes forever to install LOL. I started at 1130/12pm and its almost 3:30!!!! It's still unpacking though. The percentage number is steadily climbing ... I'll repost to this thread when I am able to play it and check it out, and give an opinion. From the screenshots its similar to Diablo. They are still accepting users for Closed Beta at their website. You need a 1GB mem card free, or about 800-900mb of free space on a 2GB mem card to be able to download and install the software. I don't recommend doing this OTA, but use your ActiveSync connection to download while connected to USB on your computer.

Edit: Oh yeah, and for those who don't have unlimited data plans, if you play it uses about 3MB of data an hour based on their website.

Yes its landscape only mode actually... I kid you not, it will take forever to download/unpack/install, so if you get into the beta, download and install the cab, start the game before you go to sleep, leave it plugged into the charger (or battery WILL die), and it should be done by the time you get up. A faster internet connection through activesync will work faster then OTA IMHO.

I would plan on playing this on either my MC50 (symbol unit), or my X50... I wouldnt play on my 6700.. heeelll no.. that thing is strictly PDA/phone.. my other 2 units are my mess around game/media units.. plus the x50 has the faster CPU, and the MC50 has the faster bus speed.. only 200mhz but man sometimes it feels faster than my X50 at 520mhz.

the benefit of playing this on your pda phone is that you require an internet connection to play this, so if you're in the car, or on Public Transpo, you can play with your 3G connection. With your X50, you'd need a WiFi connection
