Will someone cook a 3.5 Unified 1.0 ROM for Alltel for me?

For whatever reason, I can't get it to boot (tried everything in the thread), just hangs. (after flashing 5 times with no modification to the kitchen, etc)

So would someone PLEASE, compile a bare Alltel Rom for me and upload it to rapidshare or something? I would like the MSN1,2,3, cyberon voice dialer, and intellapad removed, and the .NET and crossbow theme patches applied.

I know this is asking alot, but it seems like the only way I'm gonna get it, so its worth a shot.

Thank you in advance.

The "and a bit more" is the problem. I tried Colonel's build, and frankly, I do not want any of the things that are added.

I do appreciate them though! They just have more than I'm looking for.

I have flashed my phone many, many times, with many many ROMs, and never had any trouble, with this kitchen, myself and many others are having a lockup at boot that we cant get around no matter what.

Just sits at the 'HTC' screen.

Sure, I can crank out a rom, but it is not really solving the problem. To me, it seems that the problem is the fact that you have having issues building and flashing a rom and getting it to boot. I do not know how updated Kirvin's rom is, but that should be fine if you just want a "clean and simple" rom. If you want to use one of the other roms out there, just disable the stuff you do not want to use. It does not take up ANY of your useable memory to have that stuff built into the rom.

Now, if you want to get to the root of the problem then we should try to figure out why the kitchen is not working for you. There are several areas and issues that could cause the rom to not build correctly. Did you use the Alltel nk.prj? Did you flash with the standard flasher or the NoID one? Did you see any errors at all at any time? Are you building on an XP PC?

[1] Yes.
[2] Both.
[3] No.
[4] Yes (With the latest .Net framework installed)

I don't understand why its not working, I have used ROM kitchens before, am currently running your 3.5 Final ROM with no issues, and I am generally good at hammering away at problems until I figure them out. But not this time.

Have you tried the generic nk.prj file? Also, when it hangs on the Boot screen, am I correct it thinking that it is the initial boot screen and not the Windows screen? If so, it seems that you have an issue somewhere in the build. One other question, are you using the tools individually, or are you using the Builder.cmd?

I haven't tried the generic, but I did try the SPRINT one for giggles, flashed with the noID tool and got the same results.

Yes, it stalls at the helicopter picture (yes I know they are apaches)

Tell you what, I'm gonna re-download the rar (which I checked for errors) and try the generic prj and I'll report back.
