Problem with Vista

I cannot for the life of me get my 6700 to sync with Vista. I have searched this forum and many others but have not found a solution. I have no problem getting it to sync with AS 4.5 in XP but Vista Ultimate only recognizes it as a media or storage device and not a WM5 device. I am running the clean 3.5 ROM and Vista Ultimate. I have Microsoft Live One Care as my antivirus and have allowed the activesync protocol in the firewall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
