[quote="Zak8022"]Is there a quick way to disable PIEPlus, while being able to get it back easily? I have a feeling it is interfering with a webapp that worked before i flashed to BigJ's rom.

I want to test to see if its PIEPLus... but i dont wa

easy way to disable PIEplus is in the registry, rename the 'explorer' folder by adding a 0 add the end of the name.

I tried removing the registry values for PIEPlus... and PIE still doesnt work. I used to be able to access these sites (Bank of America Mobile Banking and LogMeIn) and they worked ok before i flashed to BigJ's rom... i dunno if its a rom issue, or a configuration thing.

Any thoughts?

Crashing Problems Fix!!

Crashing?
Battery drain problems?

Try this: disable the PhoneWeaver today plugin

I have found that the one bundled with this ROM just crashes everything else when it tries to switch profiles. The fixes from various sites didn't solve it.

I have not tried to upgrade PhoneWeaver, the one built into Phone Alarm is nicer (way faster, less in-your-face), IMHO.

I agree. I was using BigJ's previous build and installed a version of PhoneWeaver that I have and it caused the same problem. It did work fine for a while, then started to crash, hang, drain battery, etc. I was surprised to see the same issue with the newest build which has PW built-in.

I use PhoneWeaver, but I installed it over the OEM version and it works like a charm.

Howdy. I registered at this forum for the sole purpose of thanking BigJ, and in fact anyone and everyone who has been working on these ROMs and hacks. Flashing the ROM was easier than pie -- and now, my PPC is the device that it should have been out of the box. So, thanks. Keep up the good work.

how do I extract the picturemail .cab file from the extended ROM in the winrar folder? Everytime I extract it to a folder OR the desktop, a FLASH UTILS folder appears, with NOTHING in it.

Looking for BigJ Rom version of Ms. Pacman

I upgraded to an 8525 after using the 6700 and BigJ's cool Rom (had to change carriers).

I loved Ms. Pacman that he put in there. I went searching for it and found a new Namco version I was going to buy. Trouble is, I noticed its a different version (newer I think) and doesn't perform as well. The sound and controlls lag behind the video. I know its not my phone since I installed the exact same PacMan game that was in his Rom and it performs the same.

Any idea where to find the BigJ version of Ms. PacMan? Happy to buy it just want the right one.
