ok, that sounds like a good idea actually. But the problem is, my phone isnt recognizing my card, (or more specifically, its contents) so if the hard reset doesnt fix the problem, all my contacts are now on my card and my phone might not recpgnize the file! But theoritically, if it is reset to factory settings, it SHOULD work.

I had this happen... It wasn't a case of StorageCard vs StorageCard2. This was a case of the index becoming corrupted.
What I had to do was download an undelete utility from the web, put the MiniSD card in my computer and undelete the files.
Once the undelete was done I was able to see the files and folders again.
Moral of the story, backup everything once in a while just in case the index gets corrupted again.

too true the moral here is always back up in fact the first thing i do when i get home is sync the app i uploaded earlier will make this easier for those times when you are away from your pc or laptop and you have been busy adding contacts you can backup on the fly it also backs up E-Mail and text messages so you never lose that text that is so important its saved my as% a couple of times you know boss sends a text and for some reason usually my fault i need to hard reset i get it all back
