First off...awesome work!. The one question I have is where can you see what all of the these or specifically the dialer skins look like before you install them?

I am experiencing a odd issue with incoming phone calls. My bluetooth headset notifies me that a call is coming in, the phone displays 'Call Staus' on the left softkey. If I answer the call with the headset it does not connect until the phone finally acknowledges the incomming call. The phone takes about 5 seconds to acknowledge the call. This is not happening all the time.

Any ideas...

Thamks,
Ben

I can't download the via a browser.

If I do via command line FTP , after doing a successful GET, the extraction fails. I'l am FTP'ing to the upload site. I can't be more specific because my post will be bloaked.
Any suggestions as how to get this ROM update correctly?
Thanks.

I can't download the via a browser.

Why not - what happens? What OS? What browser? e.g. works fine for me with XP & IE 6, or Vista and IE 7. Either "Save Target As" in IE or drag and drop in Explorer view. "Free Download Manager" also works nicely.

I'l am FTP'ing to the upload site.

"TO"? do you mean "From"? address should be
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Apache/Latest_Kitchen/

I can't be more specific because my post will be bloaked.

Sorry - what does that mean?

Even quoting your post gets me slapped with:

Thanks!

But I managed the download.

Good - glad you got it.

Here's a better thread in which to post questions about R4:

Anyone in Western Washington a GURU

I've loved my PPC-6700 and recently the screen went out so I have a new one. I have voice command & SPB backup and I test SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Phone Tools and was going to try Timetracker, however got memory problems. I love all these forums, however I'm wondering if there is someone around me that I could pay to make these updates and actually tell me what I can do with memory problems etc. I'm very computer literate and getting better at the PPC jargon, but I am short on time to learn it all.

Thanks

WOW, this looks great! And after reading the instructions, way too complicated for me. You all are making me want to splurge on a 6800 and be done with it I guess I'll have to wait for the pre-cooked Sprint ROMs to appear with the "Flashing for Dummies" instructions.

Thanks for all your work!
