Yeah I also did tell him that. They all ARE compatable. People just didn't know about the USB trick. I have flashed on Vista with all ROMS as it's the OS on my main machine.

How might one go about doing this? Adding the contacts and opening WMDC? In my WMDC theres only options to check how to enable the phone. In my sync center the options are:

Conflicts
Sync Results
Sync Setup
+ Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Re: Help with WM5.0/WM6.1 Contacts (pim.vol)

Gosh, it has been a while since I set that up and I have really never had a problem that I had to mess with it again. You just set up the partnership and select the sync options in WMDC (on the PC) and AS (on the phone). That should give you the option to select contacts, tasks, calendars, files, etc. I guess I don't know where you are, e.g. WM5 or WM6, Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007, etc. Oh, and b4 you enter all of your contacts into Outlook, just test with a few to make sure the sync is working right. When either one of PC or PPC has no data, sometimes it syncs to the no data condition and erases all the contacts from both places. You think you have control over it but there are alot of horror stories on the web about losing contacts that way.
