|
ok i downloaded it and tried to run it and it says not a valid win32 application. any ideas?
|
You need to copy it over to your 6700 and run it from there--it's meant to back your stuff up to an SD card (hope you have one).
|
ah gotcha. yes i have one thanks

PPCPimBackup looks like a great app for backing up all your Outlook data, but does anyone have a recommendation for a program to back up EVERYTHING - including customizations, tweaks, owner info, etc.
Older versions of Active Sync had a backup/restore feature that backed up everything on the device. I see that MicroSoft, in their infinite wisdom, decided to delete that feature - quite contrary to their usual "everything including the kitchen sink" bloat-ware approach. So tht leaves me searching for a decnt backup program - preferably freeware - that will add that functionality back into Active Sync..... |
I use SPB Backup. It is not freeware, but it backs things up quite nicely to the memorey card.
|
Yeah, it seems like SPB or Sprite are about all anyone carries and they're about 20 bucks to download (disk not included). :(
Seems kinda spendy for something that used to be a built-in Active Sync freebie. Anybody know of any good freeware backup utilities? |
I read about the above listed backup programs but cannot find, in my readings, if there is a program that will back up the picture associations along with the ringtones assigned to them from my contacts.
I am a regular "flasher" and only need this feature to complete my total obsession with trying the newest ROM's. Thanks for any help. :) |
okay, so what program do i need to backup my complete rom to my pc?
if i ever need to get this serviced i'd like to flash to sprint stock, then get back home and flash to my customized.. any recommends? ive used spb but that just stores critical information and not a complete rom flash. |
