Apache PPC-6800/XV-6800???

What's up with this new device? Details have been released for a long time now and it is getting confusing on the real specs of this device. Anyone have any dates or specs on this device?

I heard that the Dell Axim was deiscontinued... Sad... Now there is only one device that is affordable that has me anxious... the good ol 6800.

Though I have seen a lot of HTC's new devices that are great looking and pretty cool on specs. Though that one that runs Vista... Don't know about that one. But we will see....

Not sure.. alot of the specs ive seen contradict eachother.

its WM5.

so unless it has gps and/or drastically improved battery life.... im still going to upgrade, but i wont be very happy with myself.

HTC has a Vista device now... ridiculously expensive mind you, but yes, it's a full Vista Palmtop PC

wwow... if its cdma i will buy that.

money aint no thang. i would however have to bring fannypacks back into popculture... so for all of you who purchase fanny packs in the near future, i apoligize in advance.

Yes. I have seen a lot of controversy on this device. I even saw a IMAP Processor @ 200mghz claimed to be on this (6800) and I almost broke out in tears.....

That new device from HTC (The Shift) looks very promising. I can't wait to see those new Intel Chips that will be in there....

Maybe Intel QUAD-Core 42nanobit architecture....

Anyone out there have an extra napkin so I can wipe me drool off my keyboard????

the shift could be a great skype phone... just imagine having an unlimited data package on it and throwing a VOIP package on it.
