I liked a theme over there and put it in here (untested, waiting on my new kitchen download) :
EDIT: reaname title in xml for kitchen
edit: OEM needs replace image . restarts so I took off
so it isn't as easy as copying and pasting???

I'd like a different skin as well

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

Long time browser. Much respect and much props are due to you guys thank you very much for what you do. It's an inspiration to me. I've had the palm 650 for a whlie waiting on my 6700. I finally got it. Everytime I try and cook using WM6.1_QVGA_20755_0409 and MAXXMANILLABLUEDIAMONDAPACHE, I get a "no DSM" error. Please help!!!

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

I try and select a new project. I selected the QVGA_20755.... and click okay, then it tells me that I need to select a device. The only other option on that screen says Apache_6.1 then the old files are on the left. I'm stumpped. I'm sorry, I'm sure this has been covered several times, I'm just not catching something. I even uninstalled and reinstalled my kitchen.

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

Wurd!!! I got manillaver19 to work!! I'm so stoaked. Now if I want youtube and the weather to bring up my city am I correct in saying that I need to upgrade to the newest version of maxx's manilla build? And isn't that the manilladiamond link that is a few pages back? Oh, and with skins, I want to make/design my own skin. What program am I going to need to do that as well? And where am I copying the .cab file skins on my PPC? Just a random place in any folder that I remember the name? Then when I search, then find it, I want to open it in the location it's in, or am I moving it to a different location?

Yep, just copy them anywhere you want to (the Explore button on ActiveSync dumps you into My Documents, I believe). Just drag-n-drop the cab file over there, then navigate to it on your phone and tap it.
It automatically unpacks & installs for you.

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

Thank you guys for all of your help. I got it up and running really well. I like it. Outside of the wifi thing, I'm totally digging it. I downloaded Skyfire, and it's a zip file. How do I convert it to a .cab so that all I have to do is tap it to install? Also, I have been trying to find the thread that shows how to manually add cities for the weather. Am I opening the file on my PC, or my PPC? I opened it on my PC in notebook, changed my cities.... now I'm stuck. What to do after that? Where am I changing the save name to a .m2dct file??

For the Wifi "thing" which I believe you may be having trouble with, go here

The skyfire zip file you are referring to is an OEM converted from a CAB file. To get the original cab file, just go to the skyfire website at http://www.skyfire.com/

That OEM was just made so that when cooked in a kitchen with Maxx's Manila OEM, the internet tab would open the skyfire browser instead of Opera.

Uh, that looks like a few questions rolled into one big one if I am not mistaken. Maybe I am, who knows. Anyway, here is the post to add more cities. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=709
