Can't add/save Contacts

No matter what I try, I cannot add any new contacts to my phone. If I try entering a new one, nothing. If I try saving a call as a contact, nothing. The only thing that works is if I edit an already existing contact and save that. The phone lets me go through the process to add the contact and fill out all the information, but then when I save it, nothing is there. I have WM6.1 and an iphone theme installed, but I don't see how that would matter. After installing WM6.1, I did drag in my old contact list through pim.vol Any suggestions or light that can be shed on my issue would be of huge appreciation!!!
