Is it faster than the old Minimo? Cuz last time I used Minimo, it was one big dog of a browser.

Definitely seems a bit zippier...

But 5MB is a LOT of space...

and it STILL crashes when running a speed test on testmy.net. Dumps you out of the program completely with no error message to be seen.

I've been playing with mo.2 this afternoon. It is sooo improved over 0.16.
All of a sudden, this once dormant project is showing promise.

It loads much faster than 0.16 (still slow however) Has tabbed window support. Some Javascript support (although not image rollovers and drop down menus). I tested Javascript support by visiting a ecommerce page that has a product shipping calculator that uses a huge amount of Javascript. It actually worked.

Stability? I had one crash while using it.

It doesn't do fancy thumbnail page zooming like Deepfish, but definitely has a lot of functionality. So, when you tire of zooming into pages with Deepfish, checkout what a few programmers accomplished on their own time with Minimo 0.2

Is there going to be a development race between Deepfish and Minimo? We can only hope!

I like that it comes pre-UPXed and the splash screen now has a progress bar. I'm not a fan of using 5 megs but right now Minimo is the only browser that works with Sprint's pic mail on AKU 3.5.

Sure, if you want to see a tiny thumbnail of the picture. If you want to view the original or download it to the phone, Opera won't do the job.
