Re: newb here need some info

There are many choices out there; iFonz (which was already mentioned), SPB Mobile Shell (which I use), PointUI, Vito's Winterface.

I have tried them all but Winterface (but from what I saw of it, it does not look all that great....yet).

I personally like Mobile Shell, but each person has their own taste.

Re: newb here need some info

I just use the HTC TouchFlo software so I can scroll by finger. Works pretty well.

you might want to look into upgrading via the ppcgeeks kitchen (very easy to do). Check out ppckitchen.org and threads on this forum re: apache upgrading.

I find it a good idea to manually install the programs you want in the ROM first. That way it's easier to anticipate potential conflicts or whatnot.

It's a .cab file. Just save that file somewhere, navigate to it in file explorer and run the .cab

Re: newb here need some info

While browsing around the few sites that are not blocked here at work, I came across this one.
I am going to try it out tonight and see how it is...
