Exclamation Strangest XV6700 problem - SO FAR

Ok here's the deal, when I flashed my phone to the newest 3.3 VZW ROM locked up my phone and upgraded my BL from 1.02 to 1.04 now with that said, I couldnt flash any ROMs into it because of this so GguruUSA suggested and helped me revert into BL 1.02, everything good so far, but when trying o flash radio, RADIO WON'T FLASH, yes that's it radio is not fried or anything, it just wont flash, GguruUSA says he talked to colonel and he has no clue about what to do, both ran out of ideas, i flashed bootloaders like crazy, that did work, but radio just wont flash, GguruUSA even told me to use a Verizon WM6 RUU that has disabled many checks, and still is a no-no, and no, flashing the stock 3.3 ROM doesn't help out, it shows up error 100, well.. that's all hope someone has any information or anything, please please!

P.S.- We had been working on this for over 4 hours!

WOAHHHHHHHHHHH MY XV6700 came back from the death! i did the whole BL reversion method on an XP and got it working i also got to keep the 1.02 BL Yay!
Vista can go fu*k itself.. im out ppl! i nearly trash my phone away lol ty to all those who helped!

Re: Strangest XV6700 problem - SO FAR

Are you under warranty?

If so, place the phone in the microwave for NO MORE THAN 2-3 SECONDS [remove the battery, of course].

It will pop a diode inside the USB connector, and it scrambles all ROM data. Just take it in and say it won't boot. There is no physical damage. The disruption caused by the microwave for that short burst messes with the data stored in the phone.

Ok, you really should do this as a last resort, but I can confirm that it worked with my 6800

Re: Strangest XV6700 problem - SO FAR

Phone is stuck in a BL screen of 1.02, the phone from what i understood has no radio, and it wont boot either, because it doesnt have an OS, now when I try to flash the verizon stock rom, i get Model Error ID, and flashing the radio with a NoID fails too..

Re: Strangest XV6700 problem - SO FAR

Hmmm. Seems strange that it doesn't have an OS. If stuck in BL, when you get unstuck, it should boot. Have you used the mtty to get unstuck? Or you can try this other method as well:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Instructions%20for%20those%20st uck%20on%20Boot%20Screen%20(UNI_exitbootloader)

I wonder if the problem stems from upgrading it b4 it was activated???IDK if anyone has ever done that b4.

Re: Strangest XV6700 problem - SO FAR

Being stuck in BL mode is one thing, but did the seller tell you up front the radio didnt work? Because I have seen several phones (including 2 of my own) where the radio died and when the phone boots it says NONE next to Radio. If you go into the Communication Manager there is maybe an icon for you to turn it on but it wont enable. If thats the case then the radio hardware has died and software is not your issues, but rather it is hardware related and must be replaced. So what it like this when you bought it and did the seller tell you the radio wasnt there or broek or had issues or anything like that?

I dont thin that's the problem at all just consider it as the phone only being used as a pda.. no the exitbootloader wont work for me..
