If you have to ask that question, you shouldn't be messing with it.

You can't just extract that BIN and flash it to your device. You're going to have to cook it up into a ROM image by yourself.

And next time you should post the whole link instead of that crap that you posted. Understood with doing that stuff for email addresses but for websites, its unnecessary and highly annoying.

EtherealRemnant, he posted it that way because as a new user he can't post a link yet--it's an anti-spam measure that had to be added to the site about a month ago.

So lay off ;)

anti-spam? That's honestly just an additional annoyance to us as users who may actually be interested in the link that was posted.

I guess I understand that we don't want to be pro-spam but at the same time, having to edit the address means that people that might have been interested before now won't take the time to edit the link in order to visit it.

It was a necessary step--the board was being overrun with spammers. Sorry if having to copy, edit, and paste a link ruined your day. ;)

Nah it didn't ruin my day.

But I'm sure it has meant that nobody responded to this post for so much longer than they would have otherwise.

if I'm not mistaken ur best method would be to dump the .bin to a duump folder recomply with IMGFS tools to a .nba then use a .prj for the correct device to encode to a .nbf and flash like the rest of us. This is if I remember correct and I think I'm right. Haven't been doing to much development lately. best of luck. :thumbleft:
