help with setting up os wm6

Hi im new at this and i just got a xv6700 andit had windows mobile 5 on it can someone please list what i need to intall in order and where i can get it so i can make it up to date thanks

Nothing wrong w/ keeping WM5, so don't feel you HAVE to upgrade. I'm still running it on my 700WX. However, if you want to upgrade, there's no shortage of threads on suggested ROMs, how to go through the flash process, etc. The best thing you can do is run a search on this site or over @ WMexperts for those topics. That's really the best way to learn all about your device and how to work with it. Good luck!

You wont gain anything from going to WM6 and most people see more issues that what its worth and I also still use and will stay with WM5. I have tried WM6 and went back.

However, if you still feel then need to dig that grave, you can start here.

Here is an Apache Kitchen for WM 6.1 but first you need to read up on flashing. I am trying to find a thread to get you started
