Re: This is a final bye bye to my XV6700...
Let go of my 6700 was the best decision i ever make. Can't believe i carried the damn brick for that long. should have got my touch when i first came out. the extra money i spent on the touch, worth every penny of it. welcome to the touch, That's my two cents.

Re: This is a final bye bye to my XV6700...
Touch have gps? Just got a brand new 6700 for free, and yes they replaced my peice of crap because A) i paid 4$ a month for insurance for 3 years and B) my void sticker was intact. Haha anyway i've just removed the antenna on this new one and lost about a bar of signal, which is to be expected. Needs a paint job now... im thinkin safety orange.
also as for maps i use mobile gmaps the java aplet. search mobile maps on googile mobile and the download is on the first page. no gps but next best thing |

Re: This is a final bye bye to my XV6700...
It was a sad day when my 6700 was brutally murdered by a rogue Lego hiding in my cradles usb connector, thanks to my youngest for playing were he shouldn't be. I was hoping to get a refurbished unit, but they gave me a brand new Mogul. I kind of miss the antenna nub, it helped me get the phone out of the case, but I have adapted to the Mogul and will to whatever phone is in my future.
