Re: The weird red LED
Bro, you got me on this one. The only time the device shows a red LED is when the battery is too far dead. But you "with the phone on, the orange still blinks, but the red is on constantly" and this is where I am confused because how does it stay red if it is blinking orange? Also, it should only blink orange in the battery is X amount % low or you have some sort of missed msg whether it be VM/TXT/MMS.

Re: The weird red LED
Well there are two led's, the left one and the right one. The left one is only for bluetooth and is blinks blue when bluetooth is on, otherwise it's always off.
The right LED now is always lit on red, even with the battery on 100% charge (2 different batteries). Actually I just noticed that it blinks green and not orange, every 4 seconds. So it's red for the entire, turns green quickly and then back to red. Very weird. |

Sounds like your charger is bad or going bad. I had a similar experience when I tried using a home charger without cradle and a with a converter in another country using a 220V system. Bought a new charger there and everything started working properly.

Re: The weird red LED
Thats a good idea Trident because I dont know what else it could be and dont wanna tell you to try hard resetting if it actually does work ok aside from the LED.
If you dont have another charger you can always try syncing and charging and see what you get. That should give you the same answer as Trident is trying to help you get. |

Re: The weird red LED
Nothing has seemed to help. Whenever the battery is charging (either via outlet or usb to computer) the led is orange or green depending on charge status, but the moment I take it off charge it turns back to red and stays like that.

Re: The weird red LED
Well I guess as long as everything else works then so be it. If you know it isnt the chargers or battery (bc everything is norm while charging) and goes back to red after charging then th only other thing I can think of is replace it or hard reset and see if it is software related somehow. That certainly is interesting. Let us know what you get worked out.
