Stuck in Bootloader after ROM update

I'm at a complete loss. I tried the alwaysbelieve1_3.5 rom update from this site on a VZW 6700, and it appeared to complete correctly, but after saying complete, I cannot get it to exit the bootloader. I've tried soft-reset, power/voice/reset combo, hard reset (which prompts for clearing, but after reboot, goes back to the bootloader). I've tried reinstalling the stock (APAC_VZW_20720_200_11000_Ship), but it complains about a connection error. I've tried reinstalling the alwaysbelieve1 update, and I've tried running the sar_aku3.5+_pr5 update manually. Nothing works.

How can I "unbrick" my phone?

Thanks for any assistance out there!

Thanks for the link. I tried the "set 14 0" with mtty as the post suggests, then tried installing the stock ROM again, but still reports a connection error. Any other thoughts? If I take it in to a VZW shop, can they fix? I'm a bit reluctant, as I just got the phone replaced this morning due to a screen problem (it was an unrelated hardware failure). I thought it would be a great time to update to the latest/greatest, but I'm regretting that decision now.

WOW. This is bizarre, but I think I fixed it. I reread the message in the xda-dev post regarding fixing a phone stuck on the bootloader, and I had neglected to remove my SD card before following the instructions. However, before I had repeated those procedures, I just popped out the SD card and hard-reset the device, and it's up with the new ROM (not sure which one now, but YIPPEE).

Anyway, is there a known issue with upgrading a ROM with SD card inserted? If not, that might have been the only problem all along.

Thanks for your help, konceptz!

Yeah, no problem, It's not my hard work that fixed it for you, it's xda and yours!

I feel like there have always been issues with our mini-SD cards, or with us and how we use them.

Anyways gluck with future flashes!
