Hey JBabey,

I have been having a few issues with the ROM and I am looking for a hard reset, any ideas where the icon for it went

Also if you need a real host for the ROMs let me know I have a dedicated server with 100mb connection inside of a Colo.

I love this ROM, thanks!

Any ideas why www.xstreamxm.com/mobile no longer works since using this ROM? It browses to the page fine, but WMP doesn't start or stream the XM feed.

The new verizon rom... the MMS still doesn't work all that well.... infact it was rather cumbersome to get around the loaded SMS software... what would make this rom 100% for verizon would be to remove the current loaded SMS program all together and just use the arcsoft as the only install mms/text messaging software. Also, I was experiencing lockup issues with this rom where I would go to answer a call and it froze on me on 2 occasions. I have flashed back to the verizon oem rom and so far it is 100% working which is wierd.... they seem to have updated it as I have large wireless sync icons on my today screen which I have never had before.

jbabby there is one very high problem with this rom...
i installed a program called BatMemTime version 4.1 by tom gigear off of
http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batmemtime.shtml
and it tells you battery, and memory info on the today screen. i noticed that the extended_rom2 has only .17 megs available, thus this will cause errors with some programs, since there is not enought space that windows needs, how do we clear this up... also how do you lock the extended_rom2. and should it not really be called extended_rom?

update: found the reg enteries to lock and unlock extended_rom:

Using Registry Hack to unlock hidden ROM:

HIDDEN: (Original Setting)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000001

SHOWN:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000002
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000000

by locking the extend_rom2 folder it takes care of the picture mail issue with yahoo go! When it is unlocked it gives me a error of not enough memory. since it only has .17mb free,

this was not a problem with the verson 9.1 so what has changed?

open the resco file explorer and go into...

OPTIONS
BROWSER
TURN ON "view hidden files"
TURN ON "view files in ROM"
CLICK DONE

browse to your Extended_ROM2
you should now see all the files taking up space...

my ROM does not flash the ext.rom it only unlocks it, and makes the registry changes to show it to you

Ya, i actually think most of the MMS issues are from the sms threading. ill dig around in the reg file and see what i can come up with.

your also the very first person to report locking up... I havent had my phone lock up on me even once. Ill remove the SMS from the VZ build, and those that want it can use a cab file i suppose, let me know if that works once I get the new builds up please

thank you

One final suggestion for you - try out another file host, rapidshare kind of sucks because they make you wait for downloads.

www.woofiles.com

or www.upload.to

are both good and have no "lines"
ill look into those, rapidshare is just what im familiar with and they have "free" accounts
