SPEED DIAL CONTACTS ON TODAY SCREEN

I HAVE SEARCHED ALL OVER THIS SITE FOR SPEED DIAL CONTACTS FOR THE TODAY SCREEN & HAVEN'T FOUND ANY INFO YET. I HAVE A 6700 & I WAS TOLD IT WAS POSSIBLE TO DO. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE IF THIS HAS BEEN POSTED BEFORE. THANKS!

WOA JOHNNY! You don't have to yell. I used to use VJPhoneShortcuts to get a shortcut to speedial and then I just changed my left softkey on the today to speedial (replacing calendar since I can just click my appoitments anyhow). HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\keys 112 for left and 113 for right

This isn't exactly what you want, but it accomplishes a simlar goal (quick speed dial). Use smartsky. From the phone app, pressing the five-way up will open speed dial. smartskey is actually kind of cool and does several other one-hand friendly things. Search for it.

By the way - Is your caps lock stuck

also, check for the Treo Speed Dial today plugin. Should be on the FTP.

i used to use the one from a Treo but now I have spbMobileShell and use it's built-in speed dial bar.

Lol, sorry about the font size. thanks for the replys but I was looking for a way to put picture contacts on my today screen for quick dialing like the treo 700. I've seen some 6700 with it but no software on how to do it.

why do poeple like spped dial on their today screen? so they accidently call someone? to me a today screen should have nothing on it buy the date/time, messeging, and device lock... period nothing else. contacts can be dialed by press the green phone button, and then simply pressing the speed dial number associated with the person who you want to call.
