Contacts help

I have a 6800 and just installed Windows Vista. When i plugged my phone in to my computer it erased my contacts. is ther a place on my phone or on my pc that i can recover my contacts?

Re: Contacts help

if you didnt have a backup of your contacts anywhere (or hell even a copy of your pim.vol somewhere) you're probably screwed.

this happened to me when i paired my phone with my pc after a reformat and before installing outlook. luckily everything was in my .pst file backup though ...

The same thing happened to me once. Look in outlook/deleted items on your PC, they should all be there.

Yeah, i signed up for dashwire over the weekend. The first sync took forever, but other than that no complaints. :)

Doesn't do much good now, but you could always connect via USB to speed initial sync up. We've found that's helpful, just for that 1st time. Like I said, not exactly helpful after the fact though...
