Hey hey take it easy....feruccio...i knew what you were talking about... 8) that a G6 is just telling people you have a Intell imac and that is because I am not a Apple user.

jamieh is probley one of those hardcore Apple users and likes to point out issues like that.

By his logic, it would be a G7, because the first Intel iMac was white, which came after the G5.

- iMac G5
- Intel iMac ("G6")
- Aluminum Intel iMac ("G7")

I know Im pretty late but I had the same exact problem. But I dont think the Wifi Bug fix is a patch, it says UNINSTALL Wefi, run the program, and it should restore your original wifi settings. Well I did just that and even soft reset it but nothing. I emailed support and am waiting for a responce.

I'm having an issue close to Ferrucio's - except I haven't been able to connect to the wifi for weeks regardless of hard or soft rests. Same deal though, no wireless tab on the connections screen and wireless lan won't turn on. I used the wefi bug fix and no luck.
