Re: "Internet Connection Sharing" via usb anyone ?

are you trying for WiFi or like Vision

well for me, yes I have a different rom, all I do is start ICS it will connect to Vision, even if it is already connected to the 67 it will auto disconnect from activesync, but there is one thing I have to check and that is the IP address on settings/connections/wifi/network adapters/Remote-NDIS Host.....is moreless the following

IP: 192.168.0.105
I just picked 105

SUB: will auto fill with 225.225.225.0

I leave gateway blank

and that is it...I can use ICS on USB connected to Vision.

hope it helps out

Re: "Internet Connection Sharing" via usb anyone ?

I am connecting to the verizon data network...
I get connected and my pc saids it is connected as well and I get a valid ip address. The device type is a "windows mobile device, etc.." but I cannot get on the internet with either my pc or my laptop running either Win2k or WinXP. Status saids that a lot of packets are being sent out but none received. I even changed my firewall settings but no luck...

Ok, I'm not using wifi but rather the data network, so where do I go to change the settings...??

Same problem, no incoming packets - only outgoing....
I may just have a bad phone after all.....

Re: "Internet Connection Sharing" via usb anyone ?

Probably the reason that Wmirouter never worked on this phone the whole time...since it does require ICS in order to work....
