Re: Apache as WLAN adapter in Ubuntu
I can hook it to windows XP and Vista and use it as a USB WLAN adapter just fine. Ubuntu just doesn't have the drivers so it tries to load some generic driver for it that only partially works.

Re: Apache as WLAN adapter in Ubuntu
That could be true, but a lot of drivers are still very immature and in development stage for a lot of hardware. Nothing wrong with that though, just takes time!

Re: Apache as WLAN adapter in Ubuntu
So when you hook it up under XP, you are using "Internet Connection Sharing" to get the usb Wlan to work ?
How do you set that up, the ICS ? I'm running Win2k and trying to get the ICS to work with the PC but I get no network connection let alone an ip addy.... Thanks.. |
