Where is the VC fix to get it working with 3.5? I forgot exactly where it is and what it is.

I have it installed, but it will not pick up anything I say when I say it directly into the phone.

OK.. here's what we've been struggling with.. There appears to be a fine line in installing netcf and the version so it supports the "contacts" option. but.. I am planning yet still on posting with appropriate patches for it, along with a copy of the netcf2 that appears to work, {will be segregated in a seperate directory that the builder will have to copy into the OEM directory}.

We have patched the smart-dialer.. All works fine.

We have copied in the button 5 issue.

Thats all i recall seeing that was agreed to be in the base rom?

1. I am always assigning VC to the button with the Window on it and worked fine except as I said in my post above yours. I press it and VC activates, but does not do anything from there.

2. Also- so you guys are working on a kitchen for this as we speak I take it?

3. Why would we need a different cf 2? I don't get it.

Are you referring to the cf 2?

What about the issue I mentioned with VC? How are you guys able to get it to work(not meaning the button 5 issue)?

he was just mentioning the button 5 issue, this is for a base rom at this point. The reason netcf2 is an issue is because it probably shouldn't be in the base rom in the first place, but unless it is this specific version it isn't working with the live search contacts issue.

A kitchen is being worked on as we speak yes, so please be patient.

oh i wasnt referring to the button 5 issue, but instead of VC not working at all for me. i thought there was a fix somewhere. i used colonel's msvc oem and just tossed in my exe.

isnt that what i was supposed to do?

what else should i do to get it to work?
