Can you install WM6 over your existing without flashing ROM?

Like a recovery? I posted here below, in a brief, I had problems flashing, and i managed to get a "partial" ROM flashed with a lot of erros, my phone works, but looks like my WM6 is missing system files and acting weird. No dialer, no Today, no Boot and Splash screen, overlapping fonts, etc. is there any way to install a fresh copy of the windows over without taking the risks of flash custom ROMs? I almost made a paper weight yesterday, i am very afraid to try it again. Actually i tried flashing a Verizon WM6 rom, it says that my device is not compatible, so I tried the Generic version. Same error 150. Tried the UTstar.com verizon AKU 3.3,m same error. looks like i'll have to live with my messed up WM6..... HEEEEEELP!
