Using 6700 as wireless modem

OK, when I had WM 5 on my phone it had the wireless modem program and you could use it as a modem. Now that I have WM 6.1 there is no wireless modem program or option. How can I set up WM 6.1 for use a modem or is there a file that I can add to WM 6.1 to allow it to be used as a wireless modem. I need to do this so that I can set up security on my wireless router. I know I could use WI-FIRouter but you can't set up any security measures with it. So, does any one know how I can set up my WM6.1 phone as a wireless modem?

Dude, seriously? Do a quick search of the forum.

And are you trying to use it as a cellular modem or a wireless network adapter? Big difference.

Fire up BuildOS, setup the ROM the way you want it. Scroll down to "Tethering" and check all 3 options. Flash, and you should be good to go.

I've got the modem app installed but it won't connect to the internet. It gives an error 692 hardware failure.
