schettj - curious... why would instaling the entire extrom cause this problem? Did that happen to someone else and I missed the thread? It's been a while since I poked around in the stock extrom but I believe the only two problems are:

1. Junkware - Just a nuisance and space killer--no bugs caused.
2. sdmemory.dll file in the lockup cab... will cause the SD card to disappear intermittently.

I must be missing something else. Is it the updated rilphone.dll that causes a problem or???

Yep, the "updated" rilphone is AKU 2.2. Badness.

The OEM I made for sprint just installs fieldtrial, EPST, and all the certs and reg entries for Sprint Vision access, and nothing more. That's all you need, and all you want, but I just don't recall the list right now - it's in the Sprint OEM I made, in the init*.txt file.

Anyway, we need to give people a heads up with AKU3.x to not just blindly install the entire extended_rom with the hard reset, and we could document the good cabs to install only for each carrier. We had a topic covering this....
