.NET2.0 needs to be installed. Dunno if it works under vista, XP Pro works.

It seems that someone has deleted your kitchen because all I can find is your nk.nbf file.

AlwaysBelieve1, The file is in the main apache folder... not verizonguys folder.

ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Apache/helmi_Apac...5_PPCGeeks.rar

Cheers

I have built a rom using this kitchen and I am having some problems.

Neither Smartdial, nor ## codes are working. I know I have used the correct version of the kitchen, and I know that it's compiled correctly as my left soft key within the phone app is for contacts.

Is anyone else have problems?

Yes, Sprint ## codes work from dialpad, and Smartdialer works for me. Just the 'smart' dial piece though - I can't use left softkey to bring up keypad while in call, and I can't add speed dials.

The inability to invoke the keypad is a showstopper for me since I do a lot of conference calls with entry codes after connection.

So, certainly a very nice step in the right direction, but still some bugs needing fixed.

(And I reverted it to more of the 'stock' kitchen - I removed the freeware, and added back the missing 3.5 pieces.)

Am I the only one that cannot get a vision connection after using this base kitchen? I get the 1012 error. I have tried all the usual fixes, nothing helps. Phone calls work great, just no data connect.

Edit:
willysp told me to do the following and it worked. I did not realize you had to use the sprint oem and not an ext_rom any more. As soon as I built the kitchen with the sprint oem included and deleted my ext_rom, all is well. Thanks!

willysp said build like this:

"Apache/HELMI_Apache_3.5_KITCHEN_PPC-GEEKS_r1.1.rar

with the following OEM:

Apache/Kitchen OEMs/SprintExtendedOEM

and an empty ExtRom."

verizonguy's kitchen works for me ... mostly ...

My problems are odd - haven't been able to isolate them yet.

I use Fonix VoiceCentral (www.fonix.com) to do voice dialing (it can alos read my emails to me while driving, but whatever).

For some reason, VoiceCentral is not running with the most recent kitchen, but it did work with his beta2.1 kitchen.

Does anyone here use VoiceCentral?

...tom

I have been working on this version and also tried Saridnour's version.
This version has been changed to a different dialer that breaks the keypad from being able to be displayed once is disappears. On Saridnour's version, it works as it has always.

I tried messing with the registry and files from Saridnour's to this version without any luck. Maybe someone with more knowledge can take this function of the device from Saridnour's version to this one. Like it has been mentioned before, this version is pretty much ready to start as a base for the kitchen once this keypad issue is resolved. I do like the Saridnour version, but it is too customized for me and lacking the record function for the button assignments. I will keep on trying to perfect this version and eventually combine a couple of things from Saridnour's version. Is there a way to take an nk.nbf and turn it kitchen compatible?
