Phone freezes when answering calls - Possible solution....

Ok folks, I've been tweaking this for quite a while now and have found only one solution which seems to work close to 99% of the time.
The xv6700 is no good at waking up from sleep or turning itself back on again for a call, which results in the phone freezing when answering calls.
The solution is to purchase an extended battery which should last you possibly all day compared to the smaller battery that comes with the phone.
In the power options, DO NOT TELL THE PHONE TO TURN ITSELF OFF......
No matter when on battery or on external power....leave the phone always on but the backlight you can turn off after "1 minute" on both battery and external power....

Haha...seems to me like you installed too many 3rd party programs. Uninstall them soft reset if it still bugs out..my man you gotta do a Hard reset or advace exchange your phone with sprint..woops seems to me you might have to get on that SERO plan you and your xv6700..do some more research back up your device and start over...U CAN DO IT!

Re: Phone freezes when answering calls - Possible solution....

Both of you are correct....

sdruid...I to have that set up....and yes it does help alot when the phone does not go to sleep.

sytecaztle....yes having to many third party programs that eat up you program memory will slow and cause freezes

I try to keep my program memory in the low 20's high Teens...and all will be well.

I have to concur, if you have to have a extended battery just to keep yourself out of trouble then you have bigger issues. As said before, slim down on the apps you have running in the background, if needed disable some from starting with the phone by using something like MemMaid. Get a memory manager that can manage and free memory when it reaches a certain level or a task manager that you can use to close apps running in the background. I think my biggest hog is PIE(+).
