PPC 6700 & Call Forwarding?

PPC 6700 & Call Forwarding

While at my house my reception on my PPC 6700 is virtually zero. I have no bars at all. Someone mentioned that while at home the phone should be on call-forward to my home phone (VOIP), bypassing the reception all-together to my home phone. But I can?t find anywhere in the phone where to set the call forward of my PPC 6700. No menus in the phone are available nor any instructions in the owner?s manual. Any suggestions?

To use it dial *72XXX-XXX-XXXX to activate. It will make some beeping noises.

To deactivate dial *720. It will beep.

It costs $0.20/min

Yikes, that's way too expensive. I would have sprint take a look at the phone. Have you updated the latest prl? Or have you check your phone setting? Make sure it's on 'sprint only'; I think it will give you better signal.

Also, if you have PhoneAlarm you can have it switch to Call Forwarding automatically with a Profile Change (e.g. for your "Home" profile it will be on call forwarding, on "Work" it will be normal; you have those profiles time-locked for full automatic switching).

Another solution would the purchase of some type of extended antenna to plug into the phone or (the more expensive route) buy an in-home repeater.

By chance do you know if Sprint charges call forwarding to another Sprint phone on the same family plan?
