Luvchill you said you "configured" this to the "prl format".

1. What is the prl format and how does one go about configuring it to such?

2. Also how would I go about dumping my PRL in the future? I just would like to know for reference sake.

Thanks

If you've dumped a PRL from the NVM you need to hexedit it to remove the first six bytes and all of the zero padding from the end. That puts it in the standard PRL format.

Dumping anything from the NVM is complicated on these devices. If you really want to go into it then look at the "I changed my ESN" thread (it's something like that) in this forum. It involves using an app called QPST to get into the NVM and dump the prl_0000 file. Bitpim might be able to do it too. Be aware that you can seriously screw up your device (permanently--it cannot be "reflashed" like the ROM can) so f you decide to mess around in the NVM, be careful.

You'll need to get your specific MSL from sprint to do it. Its not just a general code that lots of people can use.

Thats because this is for the Apache (a.k.a. PPC 6700) You'll need to go here and look to see what those codes are for the phone.
