Installing Titan Radio on Apache

So I am currently trying to flash my Apache with the Titan's 3.35 radio update. Every time the updater starts flashing it kills my USB connection, causing an update error. I have tried this on Vista AND XP pro. Any ideas? Other than this is a bad idea.

Nope, just that it's a bad idea.

You will undoubtedly brick your phone. But if you must, use the phoenix 1.43 or 1.41 updater package (no-reboot) and replace the rom in that folder once youve unzipped it. Then try that. It sounds like the updater is looking for a TITAN - and from what I've seen I can get the updater to load whatever rom without checksums (i've modified a few bytes and still loaded properly...)

Copy

Well the updater goes through all the motions until the progress bar, I think I'll take that as a sign to leave it the hell alone. Besides, I kinda need my phone to still work for now. Thanks for the suggestion, Copy.
