Yup... that's exactly what i am doing with it. I even have the registry mod to unlock the ext_rom built into the custom rom so i can just install right to it without doing anyting. ofcouse i still need to run the program to make the ext_rom visible.

I use 2 reg hacks to enable the ext rom
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemStora geManagerAutoLoadTRUEFFS_DOC1] "Bootphase"=dword:00000002 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemStora geManagerProfilesTRUEFFS_DOC1] "MountHidden"=dword:00000000 no need for other programs, leaves the storage card named "storage card" and does not cause apps to make a new folder named storage card in main memory |

I have a 'yellow' logo phone, but don't have to hit 'space' after 'Y' when hard reseting. My co-worker has a yellow phone, but has to run the .exe to unlock, and the 'space' after 'Y'. Anyone else's phone act like mine? |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't getting rid of extra files in your extended rom not give you any more space?
You'd have to repatition your ext_rom in order to see any gains, which is dangerous? |

There is an OEM out there that unlocks and unhides it if you cook it in. Basically when I am done with a hard reset, phone comes up with the ext_rom open and ready to go. I typically install a few things there, so if I did not delete them before the hard reset, those files are still there.
