Re: Should I call Asurion????????

I just told the lady what was going on. did some trouble shooting. and gave me the option of new device sadly I wasn't offered the i760 though but the 6800 will be good. Now I have a new conumdrum. something happed today to the replacement! I was at school and of course the dredded holster sux and it drops from waist hight (im 5 8 ) and I assume its fine so I pop the battery back in and dont power it back on. of course now the white screen of death is here... should i tell asurion about the drop or say it was during shipping?

Re: Should I call Asurion????????

Ive dealt with asurion a couple of months ago...They are basically useless. I got a phone from them and it was all messed up.. They wanted me to jump through hoops to get another one from them. So I called sprint and they wouldnt even deal with that phone until after 30 days. Since asurion has a 30 day warranty. So I had to wait to deal with sprint. Needless to say after a while of back and forth with refurbed 6700's I got a brand new mogul getting sent to me in the mail. Hopefully get it Monday or Tuesday.

Sounds like you're lucky. I just called in my claim with asuron for my verizon 6700. When I asked her if I was receiving a refurb or a brand new phone, she told me that she didn't know, but that they have both refurb and new 6700s in stock. I was kinda hoping they would send me a defunct refurb so I could jump through some hoops and maybe get a free upgrade, but if they have new ones in stock, it makes me think they'd just send me a new 6700.
