was your xv6700 under warrenty? did you buy it at the verizon place? because im getting one on ebay and if it breaks i would like to know what they will do

Ive dealt with asurion a couple of months ago...They are basically useless. I got a phone from them and it was all messed up.. They wanted me to jump through hoops to get another one from them. So I called sprint and they wouldnt even deal with that phone until after 30 days. Since asurion has a 30 day warranty. So I had to wait to deal with sprint. Needless to say after a while of back and forth with refurbed 6700's I got a brand new mogul getting sent to me in the mail. Hopefully get it Monday or Tuesday.

i also got my first 6700 from ebay. i definitly say get wireless protection from verizon thru asurion. they cover just about everything. if it breaks start a claim online at phoneclaim.com and theyll send it next day thru dhl. doesnt matter wher u get it from |

When I asked her if I was receiving a refurb or a brand new phone, she told me that she didn't know, but that they have both refurb and new 6700s in stock. I was kinda hoping they would send me a defunct refurb so I could jump through some hoops and maybe get a free upgrade, but if they have new ones in stock, it makes me think they'd just send me a new 6700. |

I find it hard to believe they have new 6700s hmmm. one thing i did notice in EPST they don't input the refurb date make me wonder. btw im on my 2nd 6800 already
