I was wondering if you could post over in the upgrade subforum and see what the kitchen developers say about this? Thanks.
I'm not too much up on what it takes to switch a phone to a different carrier, and I'm not anticipating since locked in for another 20 months at VZW, but since I flashed to WM6, I couldn't go to Sprint with this 6700? When they advertise those "unlocked" devices is that because it doesn't have the SPC or the ESN?

Also, HTC Task Manager includes a "hold X to close" function.

The HEX cannot be changed, as it's 'hardwired' into the handset by the manufacturer. We see some phones, as to where the HEX has '0'd' itself out, but it's pretty rare anymore. I've also noticed someone on this board that was able to change it, but it's definitely dangerous.

As I stated before, I'm going to test it at work tomorrow again, and I'll address it with the Kitchen crew, if it's true.
