According to my carrier, 000000 is their default code. However, when I plugged 000000 into QPST it couldn't log on. So, instead I looked on the box and there was a sticker with two six digit numbers. One was 111111 (which didn't work) and the other one was 546140 (which worked).
I am assuming the MSL would be the same for all PPC6700's from SaskTel. Maybe Kspare can try it on his/her phone and let us know. |

Update
Sorry to drag an old thread up from the depths, but I figured I'd post an update.
The verizon XV6700 has been working well under SaskTel, until recently when I started "roaming". Not sure why this is, but it worked fine for the first 3 weeks of roaming. The last week, the phone had service, but it wouldn't make or receive calls/texts. I was forced to use the original backup (cloned) phone. Upon returning to my home town, the XV6700 started making calls again. Not sure why its being so flaky. |

unblock file system
Hello, I'm trying to change the MSL code because my carrier can´t activate my phone.
The BitPim program send this message when I try to save the modification: "Access to the file/directory has been blocked on this phone by the phone provider" Is there a way to unblock the file system? I have a Verizon 6700, and I'm trying to activate it in Mexico with Iusacell. Regards. |
