Re: Mms Help

I think I figured it out however its opened up a new set of issues.

my cricket plan have pix/vid messaging but not internet
my dads account has the full monte he told me I could setup the apache with my ESN but use his information for the net so I had mobile net.

so I did and it works I get calls on the phone to mynumber but surf the web with his account. but the MMS has to use a connection and it uses the cricket connection which is runnng his login for the net.

I can add a new modem under the exsitisng 'cricket' connection but how do I add a full new connection?

Re: Mms Help

just a thought...
IE sets a proxy detected string, that overrides the connection setting proxy.
delete the connections key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\Connections
and change the value of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings
EnableNegotiate to 0
IE sets up a static proxy, but cricket uses a dynamic prox
setting the value EnableNegotiate to 0 tells IE to use your proxy setup instead of making its own

Re: Mms Help

disregard my last post
