Close on-screen keyboard WM6.1

Hi all. Searched in here and in the apache upgrades forum but could not find my issue. When I open the onscreen keyboard I can't close it unless I go to a none-text entering screen. I am using the grey skin from the kitchen. In WM6.0 I had a little arrow next the the keyboard icon that opened and closed it and that is not there in WM6.1 (at least I can't figure out how to get it). I have looked in the input settings to no avail. Any ideas?
