How to get unlock code for ppc-6700 from sprint

im using the qwest (sprint) apache (6700) and im still not able to get the msl, for some reason, getspc doesnt help at all, numbers always wrong, cant seem to get qwest to give it to me no matter what i try, and the bitpim doesnt have any settings for this phone, also tried the pocketputty method, and searched the registry cant find the key anywhere, any ideas at all? My PPC 6700 was previously owned by a Sprint owner. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a "top up service" (pay as you go) for this phone.

If it's possible, what would you "HIGHLY" suggest?

Virgin Mobile is CDMA, do you think it's compatible with this phone? I just put WM 6.5 on this and love it to bits... it's... just that I can't make any calls

I own a Virgin Wildcard at the moment, but it's no fun... It's silly two have to phones in your pocket, one to Compute with and another to call with. I just want 1 single device...


ALTERNATIVELY.... if I can't put virgin, what "other compatible carrier with this phone" does support top up for it? And what do you suggest doing from this point?

Still trying to get the MSL off this thing. GetSPC doesnt work, BAFMSL doesnt work, mTTY is a nogo, pocketputty doesnt seem to do anything at all, im at my wits end here, this brick is about to become a golf ball, anyone with any last minute ideas?

I've just tried on my 2 sprint PPC6700s. GetSPC worked perfectly. Added new prl for starters.
Now that I can't use these phones with any service providers, I will customise the hell out of them and use on wifi networks.

i even went as far as to try the registry method, and low and behold those that should be changed, dont even exist, any ideas? maybe time for a new rom or something?

I am a complete novice. It took me whole day to figure out how to get SPC file on my folder. But when finally I transferred it to my phone using activsys 4.5 then I went back to my ppc6700, clicked on GetSPC , entered Hex ESN, the the 2nd box gave me my MSL.
I know it works because I used it to upgrade my PRL.

If you write in detail what kind of errors you are getting, someone on this forum will be able to help you.
