This is about having the Instant messaging package that the OZ software makes available for all other providers, like T-mobile but we dont have. That software is on the T-mobile MDA and I feel like we should all have have it. . We have the ability to sync emails but want to be able to im from just one software. That is the reason for this thread right now if I am not mistaken. The problem I have with getting the info i need right now is the only people I know that have blackberry phones with sprint will not touch or allow me to touch their phones because it is their work phone. If anybody knows any blackberry websites with people playing around with the phone, pm me or just post the link. I can continue the search from there or you can find the info, test it and let us know.
BTW AstainHellbring, I really liked the yahoo software. It worked great for my friends that use Yahoo as their email.

Naigaboy, can you get a hold of someone with a regular sprint phone that has the powervision package? These phones uses the OZ messenger app just like Tmobile's. The blackberries uses the regular yahoo messenger. In the registry for this program, I see an entry for a url, if we can get the url that these sprint phone's use, i think it will work. Right now it is using tmobile's url. There's also an entry for a phone number, but in the registry it is listed as 1231231234.

Ok most of the posts on here are about 6700s because this is the HTC apache (ppc\xv 6700) forum. Not trying to be sarcastic. Your best bet will be to check in the 700wx forum as people are also working on stuff there too and will be able to advise you on if it works or not. Better yet you could start your own thread and somebody might be able to answer. Few people here had the 700 (big D5 i think is one of them). just trying to steer you in the right direction.
