Regarding the asking questions... People aren't gonna just start asking question such as: what is photosynthesis or why is the sky blue or what is better the treo or the 6700??? ... in this thread if it doesn't pertain to the thread topic.

Make sense?

That's funny, I don't recall asking about photosynthesis nor did I ask whether or not the sky is blue... and I'm pretty sure I haven't mentioned anything about the Treo, but I could be wrong though..

Seriously, if you're not going to help, please stop replying. There are 39 pages in this thread, most of them are questions about colonel's update. I don't see how my questions about this update are any different..

But anyways, I found the ftp site and now I'm just waiting for someone to help with my Alltel issues.

Sorry for you Bacon but if you followed this thread you would realize that you Questions were so noob that they did seem as out of context from this topic.

I wish you luck but I would never have bought a 6700 from ebay to go thru the troubles to try to get it signed with your carrier, much less try to load a cooked unnoficial rom for them to see!

Then post a thread about Alltel questions!!!

And for the record the BEARS are in the SuperBowl- not the Saints- so the Saints have burnt in "hell" a long time ago when their season ended. 8) Even if the Bears do lose, by some fluke, they will still be better then your Saints. :lol:

Boinky, I jusy wanted two easy answers. I wasn't asking for immediate answers from anyone, my 6700 isn't even here yet. I was just doing as everyone else who would like some more information would do.. I was just asking if anyone following this thread had an answer. I really didn't need criticism, but I did appreciate the warm, friendly welcome from everyone!

This nice little free program blocks unwanted callers from ringing your phone and poping up at the most unwanted times... exgirlfriends, ex-wifes, etc... It goes to voicemail on their end.
I actually have a much larger commercial prog that has profiles of contacts to block, but I find this small prog extremely effective, usefull and stremlined...

It's called "EricZ Call Filtering 1.0.06"
I remember it posted from xdev site but been months so mayby there's a newer version. I like this one just fine as it has 2 profiles, a "black" list and a "white" list..

I have used this before and it is not only very confusing to get started, but also doesn't work the way it is supposed to. There are huge threads about this over at PDAPhoneHome and other forums as well.

I live MagiCall a whole lot, but what commercial program are you running? If it is Photocontacts pro that just takes up way too many resources for what it does. If you have something better please let me know as I rely on call filtering all the time and every day. :)

Just taking a break during commercials but yes Inclose does allow exceptions, as any good task manager app should!

And as for the bacon debacle, that's another great reason for having a complete wiki... so that noobs can get their questions answered and the experienced users aren't having to waste their time answering the same questions over and over again.
