Actually, check this website out. One of the places i found when i started playing around with my phone. He hacked the treo 650 and had custom roms i think. He moved to 6700 and i dont know what else he has done after that.

He very quickly moved on from the 6700--didn't strike his fancy. But he's a brilliant mind and a nice guy.

AKU 3.3 error with ActiveSync for Exchange
 

Anyone have any experience with ActiveSync for Exchange? I was working fine until I updated this ROM "Col3.3beta3SprintNoJunk". Now I receive the following error message:

I have plenty of memory (29 MB) so I am confused about this message.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

The memory being referred to is program memory, not storage memory.

Yes, I knew they were referring to Program Memory... I wrote the wrong one down... I have 29 MB storage and about 18 MB program memory. Should be plenty.

Any thoughts?

I have tried soft and hard reset. I experienced the same problem with AlwaysBelieve1's Rom "Hemi_Apache_Alwaysbelieve1_3.5". I reverted back to the original Sprint Rom "APA_SPCS_20600_303_12700_WWE_Ship" and it works fine.

Are you using Push sync? I am not familiar with puch sync, so I can't help you there unfortunately.

If you are just using AS, then maybe uninstall and re-install AS.

As memory serves me, shadow no longer wanted to tackle any more Treo hacking.

With each new Treo, while there are some things which remain the same, there are just as many changes. Personaly, I think all the work he did hacking the 650 pretty much wore the man out.

Originally when he started this, he didnt have a Treo of his own. So those of you here who were working without 6700's know exactly what that feels like.

I rec'd the exact message after using the hemis-apache-alwaysbelieve1-custom-aku-3-5-rom-t2861.

All the soft resetting in the world did not help me.

I actually ended up hard resetting.....several times and re-installing AS.

I must have hard reset at least 4 times; soft resets werent doing me any good.

I need a pointer into here somewhere---I need to get my Con'ls 3.3 to work my BT plantronics 590a stereo headset. I used A2DP tornado with the sprint ROM before. I figured this would be basic to any cooked rom.

OK, I'm Special too. I had to look up pairing. However it's still not in stereo-mono both ears. The 590a has a BT puck and it sounds great on its A2DP profile.

Just sharing some information. I was able to sync via USB and Bluetooth today to my Mac (OSX) via Missing Sync today.

BT headsetset 590 only works with handsfree checked, stereo headset option checked but it will not work alone. it is using the bandwidth for a headset and not stereo headphones...

I am confused by my pc-6700 and beta 3 today, it seems to have decided to stop syncing with the exchange server where I work unless I tell it too :(

the quality of the a2dp sucks very tinny. how can i up the quality?

Hey guys, I have been happy with 3.3.3 for some time. I did upgrade to a 3.5 rom, then came back to 3.3.3.
Now, bluetooth headset doesn't work! I can hear the person on the line just fine, yet they cannot hear me. I have tried putting in my VC 1.6 into /windows directory, etc., to no avail.


I have used the headset just fine with my RAZR. Any ideas?

Maybe try deleting the pairing and repair. That might help.

Thx, Jamesus. I have tried that multiple times. I've also reflashed the ROM at least 5 times since the problem started, and each time I pair it, I get the same results.

Hmmm...maybe your headset is broken. Have you tried a different headset?

I have used the headset just fine with my RAZR. I'll keep fiddlin with it, maybe wait til the next ROM comes out.

3.3 and phone
 

i ran the colonels 3.3 version and a couple of other versions for the last few weeks. i've been having a major problem with the phone dropping calls since the update. so yesterday i changed back to verizons rom and now the phone works fine. i live in mi. bordering on canada. the dropping occurs in the fringe areas where the canadian signal out powers the us signal. when i'm inland and the us signal is a decent strength the 3.3 rom works fine. between yesterday and today i have changed between aku2 and 3.3 versions 4 times and each time the results were the same aku2 signal strength was fine, no drops, no flipping to roam and i could receive incoming calls in the fringe area. as soon as i changed to 3.3 the phone would flip back and forth from roam to home signal. i could neither make nor receive calls. i also tried a couple of the other version 3 roms with the same results.
any thoughts or help with this would be appreciated

I know that Microsoft wanted these taken off. I have a friend who just went to WM6 on his Cingular phone. I just installed 3.5.3 do we have plans for WM6 roms.

any plans for mogul kitchen ?

im sure people are workin on it. wrong forum tho.

Give it time. I have plenty of mogul roms, but no way to flash them yet.
