Are you certain your card is OK? You might try popping it into a card reader on your PC or some other device to make sure the card is OK. If you have deleted the file using total commander (it is normal for it to appear again as that would be the correct version from the ROM) then I suspect there's something else wrong with your card or device.

A hard reset would be the true test. Maybe reinstall the old Sprint ROM just to make sure. Then if it's not seeing your card then you've got a hardware problem somewhere.
