SMS Reply Error After WM6 Upgrade
 

Hi,

I'm having a weird issue with my SMS service. After upgrading to WM6, whenever I am replying to a SMS, instead of the phone replying back to the number that text me, it replies to the first word of the original message I am replying to.

For example,

Lets say your cell number is 111-222-3333
If you send me a text saying "Hey what's going on?"... When I hit Reply, Instead of replying back to 111-222-3333, the "To" field will say "Hey"

And the funny thing is, I think the problem is stemming from the fact that when I actually receive a text message, the "From" field actually displays the first word of the text message I got.

Example:
"From:Hey
Callback Number:111-222-3333
how are you doing?"


Has anyone else had this problem? Please give me your input on how I might be able to fix this. Thanks.

When the phone is going through a hardreset and when it says "customizing in 3 seconds" something to that effect do a soft reset, and it should loads up fine! Dont worry if you mess it up....just do another hardrest and do over.

Remember to backup your contacts...you will lose them on a hardreset.

Yes it is, a simple search would have solved the problem, ...but you know how that goes, so I just did a copy/paste on my reply..lol...from the last person thread that had this issue. 8)
