after wm6 upgrade, stylus not working?
 

I just got this phone a week ago and decided to upgrade to Helmi_C rom...wm5 stylus worked fine, now after upgrade, the only thing that works is my thumbs! Is there a setting somewhere that brings back stylus functionality?

thats weird...

do you have ftouchflo on or something like that. Or the cube that could be messing it up.

Try and realign the screen too.

stylus not working, so I made my own and reflashed...

still not working, but thumbs and fingers work perfect

I have personally never used rob mayers roms but I do hear good things.

What are some of the programs that you added to your rom.

Did you add any programs that you are able to drag your finger. That might throw it off.

Are you following all the directions for the upgrade. Also at the end of the process it tells you to do a soft reset and your done. I hard reset instead. I heard somewhere that is the best way.

this is driving me nuts......not even remotely close to recognizing the stylus. fingers work fine. Is something messed up with the phone coincidentally?

maybe its a coincidence.

If your gonna bring it to a sprint store MAKE SURE you flash back to an official rom.


Have you tried a hard reset? Aligning the screen again.

can you post a list of what oems are on your phone now? and out of curiosity, does the stylus work when you align the screen?

very weird. Went back to official ROM and stylus worked fine. Then something clicked in my head...something I haven't read on these forums YET. Upon aligning your screen, you must use the stylus. My earlier attempts were using my FINGERS. Went back to the Kitchen and everything working perfectly.

lol thats some funny stuff. Why wouldnt you use your stylus.

i've tried to align with my finger. could never get it to work. awesome.
