So apparantly you are not stuck in bootloader mode. What upgrade did you do? When you tried to reload Sprints official rom, did you try putting your phone in bootloader mode?

And its ROM not ROOM, that is buggin me

Try to give us a brief but detailed description of exactly what you did so we can understand the problem.

ok, i installed the new version of sprint Rom (not Room) and then when the handset loads up it shows me no reception for the phone, when i click on settings it tells me a (a wireless radio must be attached to use the phone)
Then i did a hard reset and the handset wont go back to the original Rom that i previously had.
I tryed also to re-install the sprint Rom and i get an error window telling me that (this Version is not the one for your handset)
Thats why i was trying to install the old rom version to see if works out.
Thanks and SORRY for my Spelling, i'm trying to do my best so please understain.

Try this, put the phone in bootloader mode. This is done by pressing the power button (on top), the voice record button (left side top cassette thing), and the soft reset button. This will darken the screen and you will see SERIAL at the top. Now connect to the PC and run the latest official sprint upgrade utility.

couple quick questions.

1. where did you get the ROM that you tried to flash onto your 6700?

2. When you were flashing the ROM originally did your handset power off or did you interrupt it while it was doing the flash?

usually if you want to reset the ROM to a Sprint Approved ROM go to http://www.sprint.com/downloads and select your operating system as Windows Mobile (CE) and the 2nd file listing should be the one for the 6700. If it is not loading then I would set it up to to bootloader mode (as described in the previous post) and try to force the ROM flash. If you're still FUBARed, then I would check and see if you have the Equipment Service & Repair Program on your phone and take it into the Sprint store. Unless you tried to install an aftermarket ROM (e.g. AKU 3.3, most companies that sell equipment don't like you installing ROM flashes not intended from the Manufacturer) they should be able to help you either fix or replace the handset. Just make sure you have all of your data backed up because first thing they'll usually do is a hard reset and try to re-duplicate your problem.

I would try re-installing the updated ROM you originally updated with. There looks like there was an error in the ROM writing.

Make sure you use a USB port that has power management disabled, if that's too much for you than just make sure your screensaver is OFF, and you move the mouse around SLIGHTLY every minute or so to prevent any standby actions. The power of the USB port must be on full strength at all times, this is very important to the writing of ROM's. Close all other applications also (for once that requyest is actually important lol).

It's easier than tryign to hack the phone to enable the Sprint ROM. And this ROM is better anyway. Don't give up...

True that it is easier and a better rom, but he was talking about the phone telling him that he did not have a radio. If his radio was deleted or corrupted, the Sprint Rom would reinstall it rather easily.
