Voice record button for Screen lock?

Is there a way to used the voice record button on the side of the phone for locking the screen? .... can someone give me any pointers on how to do it? I have been looking around but cant find anything to do that with... I really don't use the voice key a lot and would rather use it for the Screen lock feature... All help will be appreciated
