Then reload 3.3 over the top of that if you want. You probably do, but make sure you have the custom with no junkware, not the blank one. Of course, you could just do the blank one and load up the cabs you want. Your preference.

Do you still have the Blackout.tsk file. Just curious as to what it is and why its on your rom.

Looky at the sticky post here to fix:
http://ppcgeeks.com/how-to-customize...rom-t1395.html

Read up there to Unlock/unhide extrom.
Save a backup to card or PC to edit it.
You copy over your newly edited and fixed Extrom to the Extrom2folder using a file explorer like TotalCommander.
Then Hard reset.
You can remove "unhide" prog if you want.

I dunno if using "SPB Backup restore file" is wise as it is puting old stuff back.
You should have done everthing new.

I know how to unlock and unhide it. I just want to know if once I load the one I just downloaded if I will need to reflash with 3.3 or if that remains as is? Cause then I can just unlock/unhide the new ext. rom once I install it and customize it and then hard reset again. Then I will just run an SPB restore.

Does that sound about right?

Everything old as in system files not ext. rom right?

Also the Blackout.tsk is just a today file that shows the font color to be white.

One other concern that I have is:

I haven't installed any version of .NET CF with my AKU3.3. What is this not doing for me and what am I losing by not installing it? I don't run any apps that require CF 2, but if I don't install CF 1 am I missing anything important?

TIA

.NET CF2 is only necessary for programs that require it. If you don't use any programs that require CF2, then you don't need CF2.

3.3 does not have and .Net CF files. That I have found. At minimum, you will need to install v1.0 to get some programs to work.

That's funny cause I haven't had any issues with any programs at all.
